6. Take a break
It is important to take a break during your studies, especially if you feel tired or frustrated. If you are working too long on a task, your performance will be reduced.
Taking a break, stay away from your desk or place of study. A bit physical – even walking around the block – can help you look at the problem differently and even provide a solution.
7. Get help
If you fail something or if there is no sense to something, you can always ask for help. Talk to teachers or lecturers about things you don’t understand. Talk to your friends and students.
8. Stay motivated
While studying, it helps to keep in mind the reasons why you are doing this hard work, for example the course or profession you are working in. It can help if there is something in the study space to remind you of your goals.
Decorate your place of study with inspirational passages or pictures of the people you respect and family members of whom you can be proud.
9. Connect it
Many applications are available to help students with all aspects of learning. Discuss with friends and teachers or lecturers to find out which apps are recommended.
Read the iTunes Collections page on iPads for Learning, which provides links to iTunes U curriculum courses and educational applications for high school, primary and elementary students.
10. Take care of yourself
You will learn better if you take care of yourself. Make sure you eat well and get enough sleep and exercise. Do not give yourself too many sugars or fatty foods or put yourself in late hours at night. It’s a good idea to make sure you drink lots of water when you study.
Now develop your own strategies
These tips are just some of the things you can do to make the most of your studies. Other things may already work better for you. Find out what your friends do when they learn. Your teachers may have good suggestions.
Whatever it is, whatever strategy you develop, when you find something that works for you, implement it and keep going!
